Miller Church

The make up for the Miller Church investigation included, digital pictures, 35mm film pictures, voice recorders for evp’s, emf detectors, IR thermometers and video. As to all of our investigations we make sure to take notes on how we feel about the area and to make a reference to look back on. This is a public investigation that is why it is why we are sharing it to our public.  I will be going over the evidence that we have gathered by using the tools stated above. We also encourage you the reader to leave comments to our research and results. It is always great to hear back from you guys.  The feelings we had at Miller Church is nothing out of the ordinary. It’s a neat set of ruins with a really old grave yard that sits right next to a road. The only spooky part of Miller Church is that it sits on the boarder of the woods and the road and its out in the middle of no where. The story that we read about the place having something evil happen on the site is the reason why we went. We never put any merit on the story but it sounded like a neat place.
To look back on our notes I would say the story was the best part of the trip. We didn’t have any personnel experiences. The site was really neat to explore; that is if you like to look at really old ruins. The weather was clear and we had a full moon that night so we were hoping for this to help give energy to any entities there.  The digital pictures produced a few dust orbs and some real orbs. You can look back to our research link to learn about the difference. There really wasn’t anything else in the digital pictures.  The 35mm film pictures produced a couple orbs and like the digital the rest of the pictures added to a nice photo gallery for this place.  We didn’t catch anything on the digital recorders EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) wise. We had a really clear recording for being outside and it was easy to clean up. With that we can’t use the excuse of missing the EVP because we were out side. There just wasn’t anything there to talk to us.   The EMF (Electric Magnetic Field) detectors didn’t pick up anything. Again to go with the obvious we were out side so there wasn’t any power and our cell phones were off. It was just a plain old night with no EMF activity.
Our video cameras and DVR (Digital Video Recorder) camera system didn’t catch anything. We did find some dead animals on the site but again we were in the country. It’s kind of common to find dead animals in the country by the woods so you can’t mark it up to some sort of satanic ritual.
After careful review of the evidence that we gathered and after discussing the evidence between us we have concluded that Miller Church is a neat place with no active haunting. The only thing that startled us was the occasional car that would pass by. As for paranormal activity we would have to say that it’s very minimal if not any at all. The couple of orbs we got would be the only thing that we could produce as “hard” evidence so we really can’t say that there was paranormal activity there.  A little extra bit of information that we have to offer is that this site is an historical site so please don’t go there with out permission.     - S.W.A.T.

Thermont House

To look back on our notes we had the feelings stated above; the feeling of being watched at times and then just calm. We did experience a cold spot that couldn’t be explained. We used our IR thermometer to help us trace the cold spot but that didn’t give us any answers as to where it came from. The cold spot was the only thing we had physically experienced.  The digital pictures produced a few dust orbs and some real orbs. You can look back to our research link to learn about the difference. Other than that all we got from the digital pictures is a really neat photo gallery.  The 35mm film pictures produced a couple orbs and like the digital the rest of the pictures added to a nice photo gallery for this place.  The digital recorders produced a couple of very interesting EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon). Out of several hours of recording we have found several EVP’s. One EVP is very clear and we think it says “Run Away”. We also heard very faint whistling in the back ground of us talking. Our favorite EVP was one that said “Get Out”, but we lost the recording of it when we moved to a new house. The other EVP’s are unclear as to what they say even after we clean them up. We found the EVP’s mostly in the living room, kitchen and up stairs bedroom.  The EMF (Electric Magnetic Field) detectors didn’t pick up anything. The power was off to the house so it was a great environment for that instrument. We were kind of disappointed that we couldn’t get anything on the EMF especially after we learned about and cleaned up the EVP’s.
Our video cameras and DVR (Digital Video Recorder) camera system didn’t catch anything. The only strange thing that happened was that one of our video cameras’ battery died relatively fast. We marked it up as a bad battery since the camera died again on the next investigation off a full charge.
After careful review of the evidence that we gathered and after discussing the evidence between us we have concluded that the Maryland house doesn’t have an active haunt. We do how ever believe that there is paranormal activity at this location. To clarify our conclusion we are basing the active haunt of this house as what you would normally see in an active haunt. We didn’t have any personal experiences except for a cold spot that we couldn’t debunk but it was a cold night. It also took us several investigations to get the evidence that we have. Now as for paranormal activity we have to say yes there is some paranormal activity there. We also have gathered EVP’s and pictures. With this evidence we can say that there is paranormal activity.  A little extra bit of information that we have to offer is that this site has just got a new owner who is doing a bunch of work to the house. This might kick up some more paranormal activity and pending if the new owner wants us to come back and investigate again we might have some new information to add to this report. Henryton Investigation

This is a public investigation that is why it is why we are sharing it to our public.  I will be going over the evidence that we have gathered by using the tools stated above. It is always great to hear back from you guys.  The feeling we had at henryton every time we had been there, is a feeling of eeriness. It has a bunch of neat run down buildings that would naturally cause that feeling. After you get over this initial feeling you’re more overcome with curiosity than anything. There are a bunch of buildings in the henryton area and with reading the stories and the actual history of the place we had a high expectation for paranormal activity. We have done a number of investigations and have finally decided that we have enough information to write our report for this site.
To look back on our notes we have found that the site will cause a feeling of eeriness as stated above and you also have the feeling of being watched at times. We didn’t have any physical contact with anything nor did we see shadows moving that couldn’t be explained. The site is badly run down and has a lot of graffiti all over it. Other than that all we got from the digital pictures is a really neat photo gallery.  The 35mm film pictures produced orbs and like the digital the rest of the pictures added to a nice photo gallery for this place; except one picture that we are extremely happy about. It’s a picture of a house sitting in the rear or the main henryton buildings. Here we seem to have caught two separate mists forming. We tried to debunk the picture by saying that it was our breath. The only problem was that it was to warm out to see our breaths. We then turned to smoke from cigarettes but nobody was smoking and if they were you would have to have the cigarettes about six inches apart and about 3 inches in front of the camera to produce the “mist”. Another problem with that theory is cigarette smoke makes a different more defined smoky image than the one that we have caught.  The digital recorders produced a couple of very interesting EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon). Out of several hours of recording we have found two EVP’s. One EVP is very clear, but we can’t make out what its saying. It sounds like “Rest in .....something” we can’t make out the last few words. We cleaned it up and still can’t figure it out. This EVP happened in the main buildings’ bathroom. The second EVP sounds like a few whispers at first. It was a hard find. After we cleaned it up it sounds like the voices are saying “see the signs”. We have know idea what it’s talking about but still it’s a neat find. This EVP happened in one of the smaller front buildings.  The EMF (Electric Magnetic Field) detectors really didn’t pick up much. We did have one really high spike about 6-7mila gauss. Like the pictures we tried to find the source but since this site has had its power lines cut we knew that we had something. Not to mention that our cell phones were off. We were in the main buildings bathroom when we got the spike. The neat part is our first EVP happened in the same room about half a second before the EMF spike. Other than that one spike we didn’t get anything off of our EMF dectectors.
Our video cameras and DVR (Digital Video Recorder) camera system didn’t catch anything. We didn’t see rocking chairs rocking or doors shutting. We didn’t catch anything moving. Overall it was a very boring watch.
After careful review of the evidence that we gathered and after discussing the evidence between us we have concluded that Henryton doesn’t have an active haunt. We do how ever believe that there is paranormal activity at Henryton. To clarify our conclusion we are basing the active haunt of Henryton as what you would normally see in an active haunt. We didn’t have any personal experiences there and it took us several investigations to get the evidence that we have. There weren’t any rocking chairs rocking or doors closing or strange shadows or anything pushing us off of stuff. These happenings were according to the stories so we had to test them out. Now as for paranormal activity we have to say yes there is some paranormal activity there. The background of the site is a perfect background for paranormal activity. We also have gathered EVP’s and pictures. With this evidence we can say that there is paranormal activity although there isn’t a lot.  A little extra bit of information that we have to offer is that Henryton is due to be torn down. This might kick up some more paranormal activity and pending if the new owner wants us to come back and investigate again we might have some new information to add to this report.
